Our Director Of Special Services, Tammy Hager, and our Parent Mentor, Christina Hemberger recently attended the Ohio Parent Mentor Conference in Columbus. They had a day packed with learning and connecting with Parent Mentors from Portage County and throughout the state. They are excited to bring the information they learned back to Southeast!
The Southeast Dynamic Dribblers will perform between the JV and Varsity Boys Basketball games vs Mogadore on February 2nd and during half time of the Varsity Girls Basketball game vs JFK on February 7th. Come out and cheer for everyone!! Go Pirates!

Mrs. Summerville’s class spent time celebrating the holiday season. Students enjoyed hot cocoa, decorated ornaments, and opened stockings and gifts. Their enjoyment can be seen in the smiles on their faces and the look of concentration as they perfect their ornaments. Students are excited for winter break, but can’t wait for everything they will learn in the new year!
Our Southeast Pirates in Ms. Prikryl and Ms. D'Eramo's classes spent a lovely day on the farm last week. Students were able to go on a hayride, pick their own pumpkins, eat lunch outside, and participate in a number of other fall activities. They can't wait for their next community adventure!
Due to no electric and scheduling conflicts, tonights varsity football game will be played at Matthews. The stadium is behind Baker Elementary, school in Vienna, Ohio. Please bring chairs seating is limited.
A public hearing regarding the rehire of retired teacher Holly Wickersham, High School Music Teacher, will be held on September 5, 2023 at 5:30 pm in the High School Library.
